Hi Families!
We are in our final week of school, can you believe it?? I am so sad that we are not able to be together this week but I will be sending out invitations to our virtual class party! Our party will be on Thursday, 5/21 at 10:30! It will be summer/tropical themed so think what you wore for Hawaiian Day and come dressed for our theme if you'd like. We will be sharing our favorite moments from the year, chatting with each other about summer plans, and doing a virtual awards ceremony!!! Afterwards, the awards presentation will be emailed out so that you can have paper copies of certificates! Once I have dates/times for school items pickup, I will let you know right away. Also, those of you that paid for our field trip before spring break, please know that a refund will be issued to you for however many attendees you paid for. :) Week 8 starting May 18, 2020 Monday - Grammar - Daily Gram - day 171 - Spelling - Marking wkst - List 33 - Reading - Plot Mountain wkst pg 55 and Story Timeline pg 56 in Stuart Little packet - Math - Estimate and Adding Large Number Amounts: Watch this review video on estimating or rounding large numbers and then try again on your own. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/cc-third-grade-math/imp-addition-and-subtraction/estimate-to-add-multi-digit-numbers/v/estimating-adding-large-numbers-by-rounding - Read - 20 minutes daily Tuesday - Grammar - Daily Gram - day 172 - Spelling- Complete list in cursive.
